Get to know the people caring for your pet
Choosing a vet is a big decision, because you want to know exactly who is looking after your pet when you need advice, treatment, or a calm pair of hands. The Mount Veterinary Practice brings together fully qualified veterinary surgeons with more than 20 years of experience, offering support across routine care and more complex concerns.

Our team has particular interests in surgery, dermatology, and parasitology, helping you access the right care plan for your pet’s needs. We work hard to create a friendly atmosphere by knowing your pet’s name and establishing a real relationship that helps nervous pets settle and gives you space to ask questions without feeling rushed. Whether you have a dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, or another small pet, you'll receive the same attentive care and professional support.

Michelle
I enjoy going for a run along the prom, but my most recent favourite has to be the 10k trail race I completed in Pooly Bridge. Then, on a Sunday morning, there is nothing better than putting on my hiking boots and getting out into the Lake District fells; my husband and I are currently ticking off the 214 Wainwright fells. I love animals and have had them all my life; my house isn't a home without them. I currently have 3 cats, Shadow, Flo, and Tinks, and 2 dogs, Rocky and Rocco.

Aleks
Aleks joined the reception team in June 2026, having recently completed her university degree in psychology. With a long background in hospitality, she loves meeting our clients and making a fuss of their pets when they come in! She always wants to make sure that everyone has a stress-free and positive visit. Outside of work, Aleks has a love of all animals and cares for three rescue cats of her own. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, crocheting, and getting together with her Bulgarian dance group, as well as spending quality time with her partner.
